You really can't tell if contact is appearing offline. That's the purpose of being having that option so that you can be online but offline in chat. However, if a person who doesn't seem to be online in chat but posted something on the wall then that person is appearing offline.
No, but is that contact has a webcam, and you can see the webcam icon while he/she is "offline", it means they're using offline mode.
ok this is for the new msn 2009-2010 click on the contact and type a message if the message has the time written next to it then they are actually offline if it does not well.. somebody wants to be left alone :-)
if someone post something and it says there offline that means there chat is offline
Unfortunately, it is not possible. People make themselves offline on purpose for privacy reasons.
Sorry, you can't.
only if they know how to find out of if they have msn plus
Because they're status will show up, or they'll plain out message you or call you. Ya know how you can sometimes see people's ooVoo status, even though they're offline? That's because they ARE indeed online, they just set it to invisible. Hope this helps(:
No, you show up as offline to them.
There are many ways that one can tell if a website is offline to everyone. One can tell if a website is offline to everyone if the page doesn't load or if the page comes up with a 'page can not be displayed' message.
On Kik messaging, you can determine if a contact is online or offline based on their profile status. If the contact's profile status shows a green dot next to their name, it indicates that they are currently online and active on the platform. Conversely, if there is no green dot next to their name, it suggests that they are offline or inactive. Additionally, you may also see a timestamp indicating when they were last online, providing further insight into their activity status.
On my Windows Live Messenger, if you talk to someone who is truly offline, the time appears alongside your screen name in the chat box whenever you type and send something. When someone is 'Appearing Offline' the time is NOT shown.Hope this helpsthat helps a lot thx!
