How do you unlock your iPhone if you forgot the passcode?

Choose Settings > Phone > SIM PIN and turn the SIM PIN On. You will be prompted to enter the current PIN (iPhone ships with a default SIM PIN, please see the table below to determine what should be entered). You can then tap Change PIN to assign a different PIN number. Note that the SIM PIN is separate from the Passcode Lock (Settings > General > Passcode Lock) which comes up when waking from sleep and turning on.

the first thing you will want to do is you will need to reset your iPhone by going on to the options then setting menu which is in the main home page. once you do that you need to buy a package of eBay for around $5. it is a Chinese rip of, but don't worry. i used it on my phone and my phone really cool, I've now done this and sold again 4 time making about $100 each time. when you reset it you will need to leave it for 6 days before the firewall and security wall starts to fail because the programing system would have been deleted when you reset it. install the program from iTunes like an app.

PS: you don't want to take into the apple store or any other store where they will check it as they will reconise the software and take it from you, in staed take it to a none liscenced iPod dealer who deal for the company you were origanlly with and they will fix any problems without scaning the phone

PSS: the program package can be reused so you can resell it if you don't want to keep it.

You will need to go to settinggs from your home screen, then select general, then select what lock you wish to enable. You will need the default code if this is your first time setting it or you will be asked to also create your own PIN code. You should now be able to use the locking facility on your phone.
