Some cellular providers keep a log of calls sent and received by a specific phone. In order to discover whether your phone provider has this feature, log onto their website and check the user features.
You can usually find deleted call history in the "Recycle Bin" or "Recently Deleted" folder on your phone. If you don't see it there, you may need to use data recovery software to try to retrieve the deleted calls. To track calls you can use the 'Cell tracker' App for Andriod but if your son doesn't have an Andriod phone you can call his network provider/cell phone company and ask for a copy of the bill. The bill shows exactly who he has been calling.

Your Phone may have a system that you can see the Numbers of calls you have received in the past. Mine keeps them forever or until there are 999 records then the oldest one is deleted. The actual call is not recorded unless you have set something up to do that. So it can not be retrieved.
Dial *86, then dial the entire 10-digit phone number that you would like to forward your calls to.
