If the coupler is described as "INLINE", it would be wired as a straight coupler. All 8 pins are wired straight thru or "inline" as 1 to 1, 2 to 2, and so on until you get to pin 8 which goes to pin 8 on the opposite end.
follow the clutch line down to the trans and there is a coupler that is about twice the size of the line and there is a little greyish white ring on the line side pused it squarely towards the coupler till it is all the way in the coupler then pull the line out
You can use an in-line coupler to extend a telephone line.
is the lines on the thermal coupler and pilot light for a hot water heater supposed to get hot
Provided the coupler is in good condition there is no reason why it would reduce network performance. With that said it is worth remembering that most couplers are not Cat5 certified and should only be used as a last resort. It is much preferred to use one single length of cable as this reduces the chances of the connection coming undone accidentally.
