You only have to visit the page for it to count as a view that's why sometimes if you keep watching it, you think you've had views from other people but actually it can be you. EDIT: THIS IS NOT TRUE. JUST LOADING THE PAGE DOES NOT COUNT AS A VIEW. YouTube is quiet about just what counts as a view, also there seems to be a delay in tallying a view, and that can come into play as well.
