To replace an average deep well submersible pump can run anywhere from $1,400 to over $2,000. A domestic submersible pump is anywhere from 420 to over1,200 depending on capacity you need. No responsible technician will replace a pump on the same wire and tubing, - so that is a further 1.50 or so per foot. ( 200 foot well, 300 for wire and pumptube. ) .

We just had to replace ours and it was $492 for the pump itself and then we will have to pay for the labor on top of that. We haven't gotten the bill yet but the pump itself was close to $500, labor costs would vary based on who you used.

I am a water systems contractor. The average cost of a submersible pump of good quality is $999.00 for the pump alone, assuming its a 3/4 hp. By the time you add in splices, torque resistors, stainless adapters and not to mention labor, you are looking at about $1500.00 easily. Constant pressure systems are more costly than conventional systems.

It would depend on your area, ie what's in the ground where you live (heavy rock, etc) how deep the water table is, how alrge your house is. An example of my area: Central Ohio: Drilling: $20/ft and usual depth is 40 ft, pump, and other fixtures $1000. I have a small house, so I only need a 10gpm pump, but you may need more or less.

pump replacement cost is determined by severral factors depth of well and water table to size the pump good quality 1Hp sub 10gpm average $1200.00 just for the pump. pipe and wire of corect type and quality about $5 per foot this is up to 300 feet of depth past that the pump ,pipe and wire will be larger and the cost will rise acrodingly .the labor for a licsensed pro with the propre equptment to do the work boom truck, ect. at the 300 foot mark around $1250.00 more if it gose deeper. so a 300 foot set all said and done 5 year warranty on the pump 1year on labor would be $3800.00 to $4200.00 keep in mined this is with the best quality materials and pump not junk you buy at thr hardwaer store and not hung on poly pipe or glued together pvc.answerd by a 40 year pump installer do it riet the first time and one time it will pay off over the years .
