No, they don't have sony phones. Part of the problem, is that Sony phones aren't compatible with MetroPCS technology - at least not on a full scale. MetroPCS uses CDMA technology and most Sony phones don't use CDMA... Any sony phone I've ever come across needs a SIM Card...CDMA phones don't use SIM cards. That right there should tell you about the obstacles. Now, I'm sure you can go get an unlocked Sony phone, and take it to MetroPCS dealer and have them flash it and get it to work on their network. But I'd be surprised if you'd get full functionality out of it. You also run the risk of frying the phone, although this risk is slight.
No, but you can be sure they will charge you the full list price for the phone and many will also rip you off for an activation fee to set up the phone.
No
about 10 bucks and maybe an activation fee
Activation just means making something start up. There is an activation fee for that website. You have to have an activation code to load that software.
Unfortunately no, there is no way to waive the activation fee if you are buying a new phone to go with a plan. The only way you could have it waived would be to have an unlocked phone and start a new contract, but Verizon only allows the usage of locked Verizon phones.
Not for the wifi only model. I'm sure that if you buy a 3G or 4G model, the carrier will charge you and activation fee.
