A 1 MBps (megabyte per second) CIR (Committed Information Rate) connection translates to a download speed of approximately 8,000 kbps (kilobits per second), since 1 byte equals 8 bits. Therefore, if you have a 1 MBps connection, you can expect to achieve around 8,000 kbps under optimal conditions. However, actual speeds may vary based on network conditions and other factors.
(128 kbps) * 1 hour = 56.25 megabytes
No, 5907 kbps (kilobits per second) is not faster than 28 Mbps (megabits per second). To compare, 28 Mbps is equivalent to 28,000 kbps, which is significantly faster than 5907 kbps. Therefore, 28 Mbps offers a much higher download speed.
the connection speed is still 400kbps and the speed isn't divided it is shared so if one computer is streaming video that computer may use a larger portion of the 400 kbps.
The time depends on what is to be downloaded. If the size of the file is greater than more time would be taken.
I think it would be connection sustainability and also download speed as well.
Most Broadband providers have a "cap" on how much you can download. If you are a high-volume user, they eventually limit your connection speed.
If my calculations are correct. Just under 20 hours.
That depends on your connection speed and the download speed of your internet. Also, how much information is contained in the update. Download and installation could last from ten minutes to eight hours.
it's an internet or network connection that is much faster than the original method of going online. while dial-up connection has a bandwidth that maxes out at 56 kbps(kilobits per second), a broadband connection can give you 1500 kbps. thus, the bandwidth is broader than dial-up, allowing more information to flow through at a faster rate.
Well, your download speed depends on your internet connection, and your internet connection (speed) usually depends on what "plan" you have and/or how much you pay. If you feel that your speed is too slow, it's time to get a new, more expensive, faster "plan" from your Internet Service Provider. What the hell, 20-30 hours?!?! What are you using, dial up? Well They updated the download thing it only takes 20-30 minutes now
Because you isp have slow download speed and fast upload speed.
its pretty good. i have a .7 down and a .3 up and i game online just fine. i cant host games very well though. I cant download large files without it taking like 2 days. but ya, that connection is decent
