The blue vertical line on your plasma TV indicates a potential issue with the display panel or the circuitry responsible for processing colors. It could be a failing pixel or a problem with the connections or drivers for the red and green subpixels. Since the line disappears against a blue image and doesn't show with white, it suggests that the blue subpixel is functioning correctly, while the others may be malfunctioning. You may need a professional repair or replacement of the panel to fix this issue.
You cannot fix individual pixels of flat panel displays. To fix it the entire display will have to be replaced.
I had the same problem with a brand new 52 in sharp aquos right out of box. Sharp sent repair out to fix. Apparently, it is a problem with many of their LCD flat tvs.
Old analog TV sets have horiz. and vertical centering controls on the back, most of the time they are hidden behind the back panel. These are near Very High Voltagecomponents and are not safe for the lay person. If these controls stick out of the panel, you can adjust them safely.
If your television shows no signs of power (like blinking lights), your fuse could be blown. To check for this problem, unscrew the screws on the back of your television and remove the entire back panel. Look for the spot where the power cord connects, and find the fuse in this area. Remove it and take it to a specialized electronic store to find a new one of the same kind. Replace it, place the panel back on the television, and check to see if this fixed the problem. If this makes no difference, there could be a more complicated problem that requires assistance of a technician. I would recommend tvrepair.inyourarea.net/ to find someone in your area.
You will need to go to the control panel and click the support line for information to fix the error 5118 on Rosetta Stone for Windows.
With an LCD flat panel TV or monitor, the most common problem is that the back light went dead. It can be either the fluorescent tube or the invertor, which is the high voltage power supply that drives the tube. It could also be the semiconductor that is the switch in the invertor that turns it on and off.You almost certainly are between a rock and a hard place. If you have to come here to ask this question (and no offense is intended or implied), you probably won't be able to do anything to repair the unit yourself. What you can do is call around to some local shops and describe the problem and see what kind of repair costs you might incur having it repaired.
Sounds like you have a vertical output problem with the set, since the vertical driver has become defective.
The Fix - TV film - was created in 1997.
Check your local store or online for prices as they change continually. Less than $100 / £100 will get a small flat screen television and probably an HD ready television as well. If you have more to spend, $1000 / £1000 will get a 40 inch model with 3D and smart television functionality. The highest prices for televisions are in excess of $20,000.
Fix a flat, you can get it at any dollar general store or Wal-mart.
i have a 04 and the door panel comes off easy like on most cars it has little screw clamps witch you just pop out. use some hard flat plastic wedge to get the door panel off.
