To display name information in Access, you would most likely use a text box control. This allows users to input or view text data such as names in a user-friendly manner. You can bind the text box control to a field in a table or query to display the name information stored in your database.
How a currency value will be displayed depends upon which currency it is set to display, so it could display as €1,000.50, $1,000.50, £1,000.50, etc. It could even display as €1.000,50 in countries, such as Spain, where the thousands separator is a full stop (period).
No. It does not designate any field you put in. That is something you have to do yourself. If you don't designate one, then it will ask you if you want to or if Access can put one in for you. If you allow Access to put one in, then it will insert a nwe field which will be an Autonumber field and this will be inserted at the top and so it will be the first field. It makes sense to have the first field as a key field, which is why it inserts it at the top, before the first field you put in. If you are setting your own, you should put that field in first, though you do not have to.
Shift + F9 will toggle between field codes and results.
