Gas piping must be bond to the appliance it serves.
1- The piping must be supported with clevis hangers with a metal compatible to copper to prevent electrolytic action2- The spacing between hangers must support the piping from sagging or placing stress on the threaded joints

To be bonded, a person must be at least 18 years of age and a legal adult. A full background check must be performed as well.
To read the piping and fabrication drawings easily and correctly the user must have significant knowledge about how the drawings are prepared, and the perspective in which these drawings can be presented.

galvanized piping is acceptable but not necessary. all steel piping must be wrapped when entering ground at least 6" (a foot is better) bushings are not allowed unless properly peened so its better to just use bell reducers. and finally be sure to size your pipe according to the BTU requirement of the appliance being serviced

Think of this as H2C3H2 or HC3H3 As carbon is tetravalent and hydrogen is monovalent there must be either two hydrogens bonded to a carbon that is double bonded to another that is double bonded to the third which has the remaining hydrogens double bonded.
