The questions and answers on this site are as legitimate as our contributors make them, of course there are times when people find it to be hilarious to make "stupid" questions and post them on the site, however, there are people who love to TRULY contribute to Answers, and help make it as legitimate as possible.

• It can be when people are here to not vandalize the website. This is the reason for supervisor, so that we can make sure all information (answers) are correct. For the most part, there are A LOT of questions that are with correct information.

We are a legitimate website, yes. The answers are usually correct - though, since anyone can answer, you do run the risk of getting someone who just doesn't know what they're talking about! Category supervisors spend a lot of time trying to make sure that their categories have correct information, though, and we usually manage to find those folks and correct the misinformation.
