Is Google mail safe to use?

Well it depends on what 'safe' means. If you mean safe from hackers and stolen personal information, then very safe. If you mean safe from children viewing inappropriate images, then not very safe. You can set up a safe-search setting, which only allows 'clean' images through the filter. However, this setting can be easily changed to allow inappropriate images to be viewed. So, it depends what 'safe' you are looking for.

Yeah it is is you do not download any pop-ups or anything like that. never post personal information about yourself on Google if you are a kid. Never give out credit card numbers or anything! Never put pictures on the internet that are "sexy" or nude.

As well google mail is very safe but just be careful on there but I have it and its fine.

Google images could be bad because when you press on a picture to see it, it takes you to a random website which could contain a virus but apart from that, yes google is safe.

Yes Gmail is safe. I have a gmail account and before i had one my mom checked it out. you are allowed to chat but only with people in your contact list. It will say would you like to chat with (who ever the name is) and it will keep it like that. Say if you did it by accident you are allowed to block that person. But i don't think theres a way to block email addresses.

I think it would be as safe as any other main email provider (the likes of Microsoft's Hotmail/Outlook service, Yahoo Mail and other services like this). You will find that the main stream email providers will make sure that safety is their main priority so therefore they put the email on a secure server. So yes, the answer to your question is yes, Google Mail is safe to use.

Yes, it's fine. It's easy and better than hotmail. Hotmail is confusing for kids, but gmail is easy.
