WikiAnswers is a good site. It is well patrolled and supervisors constantly monitor the quality and accuracy of answers.
OpinionNot completely though. If you need to do something for school, say something to do with presidents and where they were born, WikiAnswers wont give you a great answer.
AnswerWikiAnswers can only answer questions that make sense, and if the contributor is unhappy with the answer it is often because the question asked is not necessarily the question they thought they were asking. Wiki Answers is good but it can't read your mind.
WikiAnswers will not do your homework, but it can put you a long way down your research path.

WikiAnswers is super fun, and its a good way to show your knowledge and ask questions that you have that you want to know the answer too. The people here are really nice and will repsond to you in a good time if you left a message on their message board, or something like that. The website is set up in a good way and its easy to use and to read and to opperate. I'm a supervisor and I think wikianswers is great. You get some annoying people who break the rules, but there are lots of us supervisors to deal with them.

WikiAnswers Supervisors can spot and block vandals on this website almost as soon as the user has posted the vandalism (for more on this website's policy refer to the link at the bottom) If you find a web rumor on this site report it to wikianswers@answers.com so it can be removed immediately -you should tell a supervisor or someone in a higher level. Don't handle it on your own. it might get pretty ugly. good luck =)
Why presentation is important in technical writing?
Technical writing is all about facts. If you write and present the facts in a good way then it's more likely that your reader will understand you. You've only got to look at half the questions on Wikianswers and half the answers as well to see that it's not easy to tell from the question exactly what the questioner wants to know, and from the answer exactly what the answer really is!
