Nook, most definitely. Not only is it prettier, but it has a touch screen at the bottom for easier navigation than the Kindle. It holds more books than the kindle (1,500) and is really cool.
I would do your research,, though, and see which fits you. The new Kindle has a keyboard at the bottom, but there is a new Nook called Nook Color, that is completely touch screen and in color, while the nook's screen is black and white, but the touch screen is color.
Go to bn.com (barnes and noble's website) and do you research. Read some reviews, watch a few videos. P.S the Nook is cheaper currently.
