Select 20 random samples of students (using an appropriate sampling technique) from your

class (or other batches) and collect the following information from them.

Gender, Weight (Kg), Height (Cm), Blood type, Physical exercise (Yes/No), and Heart

rate (bpm).

Now based on the data:

A) Present the data using appropriate methods, such as graphs or tables.

B) Summarize the data using appropriate MCT & MOD.

C) Do the data provide sufficient evidence to suggest that Gender and Physical exercise are

related? 𝛼 =0.05.

D) Find the 95 percent confidence interval for the population mean difference in heart rate

between male and female students (𝜇𝐹𝑒𝑚𝑎𝑙𝑒 − 𝜇𝑚𝑎𝑙𝑒).

E) Suppose you wish to determine if the data you have collected provide sufficient evidence

to indicate a difference in mean heart rate between male and female students. Use α = 0.05.

F) Calculate and interpret simple correlation coefficient between Weight (X) & Heart rate (Y)

G) Find and interpret the linear regression equation between Weight (X) & Heart rate (Y)
