Downloading songs from Ares P2P can be illegal if the content is copyrighted and you do not have permission from the copyright holder. While Ares itself is a legitimate file-sharing program, the legality of the downloaded content depends on the rights associated with it. Always ensure that you have the right to download and share the music to avoid potential legal issues.
Many services are available. For starters there are p2p sites such as bittorrent, bitcoment, or bitlord. Another option would be a service such as Ares, Kazaa, or Limewire. Legal services that actually sell songs are also available like iTunes, Rhapsody, or Amazon's new music service.
i got a few songs from dada.net and theyre legal as theyre not a P2P(peer to peer) site
Ares P2P is the best software as far as I know. We get lots of things in it like movies, songs, softwares and many more just 2-3 MB of file. Limewire can also be a good P2P software. Bearshare, too, but I recommend LimeWire.
Limewire is not illegal. Limewire is a perfectly legal P2P agent. Downloading certain files may be illegal if they are copyrighted or you do not have permission.
P2p or Peer to Peer downloading is basically downloading files from other people that are sharing the file. A number of people has the file shared and a p2p program searches for users with the file and Lets you download it from multiple users with the file
shareaza
The only known place to download these is from a P2P Program such as Kazaa, LimeWire etc. Although downloading from such programs are illegal and it is not reconmended.
Ares Ultra is a scam that is making money by using the name of a trusted P2P program. You can contact them if you are a member by going to their site (I will not link to that scam), but from what I have read-you will not hear back. The real Ares is now located at Sourceforge, a legitimate site for open source programs: http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net/
Downloading with Limewire or ANY other p2p software is not illegal. Its illegal to download Copyrighted material.
Try downloading this from a P2P program such as LimeWire, Kazaa etc.
Frostwire is peer to peer (P2P) software that creates a network connecting your computer to other people's computers and other people are connecting your computer. To download you are using the other computers power and bandwidth. If the other computer is not connected to the Internet and the FrostWire network then the songs from that computer will not be downloading but will be held in a queue ready to download whenever a connection is made.
From my research it appears that Limewire is a p2p sharing site which once was perfectly legal but was abused for illiegal downloading and pirating and has now recently been ruled illegal and forcibly shut down.
