it really is i used cable and then i switched to wifi. wifi is really slow
The ethernet cable needs to be connected to a router or modem and it works fine although I chose to purchase the CAT 6 ethernet cable. The speed test for the internet connection is faster with the ethernet connection than with the WiFi connection and I have never lost a connection like I did with WiFi
Yes, if you wish to use your laptop away from home using someone else's wifi network, or using a hotspot. At home, rather than wifi, you could use an ethernet cable to wire directly to your router.
Cat 6 can handle up to 10G (10000Mbit/s) while 802.11n (WiFi) can handle up to 200Mbits/s. Basically cat6 is way faster than WiFi.
Using a WiFi coax cable can improve your internet connection by providing a more stable and reliable connection between your router and devices. This cable can help reduce interference and signal loss, resulting in faster and more consistent internet speeds.
If you have DSL internet, you can use a WiFi router with it. That's usually provided by the phone company.
A wifi phone is just a phone that can use wifi. You would connect it to a wifi network to get a better signal for faster web browsing than a cell tower.
Wifi - by a long shot
Not all external peripheral devices need a cable. There are a growing number of devices that use wifi (wireless and no cable required). You can use a wifi keyboard and a wifi mouse. There are wifi printers, and so on.
