To be honest, in my opinion, its safe as long as you dont take the video while your on your street or in your house. If your going to make a video I suggest you go outside of your neighbourhood. Its safe as long as you dont tell anything personal, you address, phone number, street,etc.

If your video file contains your face in the video, then you will have to edit the video using a video editor before uploading your video to YouTube. YouTube does not provide any video editing software to users to edit their video content other then replacing music and adding branding and annotations.
