*69 gained popularity some time ago before a number of the newer calling features offered by telco's today existed. With *69, if you missed a call for whatever reason, you could hit "*69" on your end and receive a recording informing you of the last number that called your line. With so many calling features bundled with today's phone service, caller ID, browsed through can offer the same information without anything having to be dialled. The *69 service is still available however to the best of my knowledge. *87 before dialling an outbound call will block the originating number on the caller ID of the party being called. Hope this helps.
Star 67, Star 68, and Star 69 are commonly used calling features on telephone networks in the United States. Star 67 allows a caller to block their caller ID, making their number private when dialing. Star 68 is used to activate or deactivate call waiting, while Star 69 enables the user to redial the last incoming call. These features enhance privacy and convenience for phone users.
69
well star 69 can be very reliable so can * 67 and * 98 but you have to make sure your phone company allows it free and you change your voice ; * 69 is better you can block your own number when you call whoever it is your trying to call hope this came in handy good luck with your snoopy business well so long.
Dial star 69
depending on the phone you have to dial Star (*) 69 or star (*) 67
The point of a 69 call is to block the number that is making the call. There is no way to find out this number.
That block was used from 69-80 to build 302's, 327's and 350's.
"star" 67 then the phone number you are dialing
Well you know that star press that then 69 and if someone prank calls you do that and it well call that number thank you .
No, 69 is not a square number.
yea....whhen u wnt to call private
Yes, if you dial *67 (or equivalently 1167) to block your outgoing Caller ID, and then dial *69 (or equivalently 1169) to call back the last incoming number, it should show up on the other person's phone as "blocked" or "number withheld." In order for *67 to work, it should be dialed first, before any other "star codes." For example, to block outgoing Caller ID and also cancel call waiting, you should dial *67 *70, not *70 *67. The order shouldn't matter, but it sometimes does. In the US and Canada, you can dial 11xx instead of *xx, if you are using a rotary or pulse-dial phone.
