Nope. 3S-FE to 5S-FE is very direct (bolt in if same generation of engine) but the 5S-FE to 5S-GE conversion is quite a lot more in-depth- there's some wiring needed to get the GE intake running properly, and some work needs to be done on the head/block to get water passages in the right places.
3S-GTE
No, it will not for sure. try to have 3s-gte instead.
Which engine?? 5SFE or the Turboed 3S-GTE?
The 1991 Toyota MR2 came in three different variants each supplying different levels of power. The 5S-FE, 3S-GE, and 3S-GTE. The GTE came standard with a turbocharger.
need a diagram of vaccum hoses for a 1986 Toyota celica gts w/a 2 liter eng.
First off, the engine you need is the 3s-gte. If you have this motor it all depends on how much money you can generate. If lots of dollars are available, you can build a motor exceeding +800 horsepower!
Yes, a Toyota MR2 turbo gearbox can fit in a 2-liter MR2, but modifications may be necessary for optimal compatibility. The turbo gearbox is designed for the 3S-GTE engine, while the 2-liter typically uses the 3S-FE engine. Ensure that the mounts, driveshafts, and other components are compatible or appropriately modified to achieve a successful installation.
this engine is used in many Toyota models. It is the performance engine in the two liter range it has the same block as the 3sfe but has a wide valve angle cylinder head this is where it gets its performance from. as for cars it is used in there is the mr2 sw20,celica gt4,caldinagt,t,im sure there are more but i can't think of them at the mo.Hope this helps
