We have a water supply tank on the roof. If I turn on the bathroom sink tap before flushing the toilet or turning on the shower, the pressure in the sink dies after a couple seconds and I have to go to the breaker box to turn the water pump circuit off and back on, then the water pressure is fine. If I flush the toilet or turn on the shower first, then turn on the sink tap, it flows with no problem, even if I turn the shower off right away. I don't know if this is a problem with the pump or a wiring issue. I've never seen a setup like this anywhere in the States. Any ideas what could be the problem?
