Simply NO
I agree Personally I would say NO They are to young to take responsibility for one. plus I do not think it is good for them.
Who are they going to call? At 5 years old they should not be left any where without adult supervision so the adult can call you of they need. Again personally I would say not until they are at least 11 or 12
While this is largely the decision of the parents, a fifth grader, regardless of shyness or not, has no real need for a cell phone.
An average American gets their cell phone around fifth or sixth grade.
There is no universal need for 5th graders to have cell phones. However, if parents feel that it is necessary for safety or communication reasons, they may choose to provide their child with a cell phone. It is important to establish clear guidelines and expectations around its use.
A plastic one. You don't need a phone if you're in 6th grade. If you are a parent who wants their child to have a cell phone, you need to get a cheap one with a very limited plan. Pay-as-you-go is easiest. I have found virgin mobile to be helpful with this.
Go to your local phone service store in your town. Ask them if you can get a cell phone card for your cell phone. They should be able to answer your question.
i think that you should be at least over 16 to get a cell phone
Yes. A 12 year old should have a cell phone. They should be mature enough to handle a cell phone. My daughter's are triplets and they are all very responsible about what they do on there phone. I think that 12 year old's should have a phone.
You should be over eighteen yaers old and should have a job so that your can pay for your cell phone.
not unless you are into a phone a month
you should call your cell from your house phone or a friends phone.
I think eleven or twelve is a good age for a cell phone.
