It really depends on the kid. If she is extremely responsible than I would get her an iPhone 4S because they are the best iPhone out there and she would appreciate it. Now on the other hand if she is not really responsible than I think you should start her off with a different phone just to see how she handles it. This all my opinion so you should still decide yourself. Like I said it really depends on the kid.
