Within the Alignment section on the Home tab of Excel, you can align the text of a selected cell from center, left, right or justified. It also allow you to merge cells and wrap text.
The Alignment tab in the Format Cells dialog box contains the options for wrapping text and rotating text in Excel. It allows you to customize how text is displayed within a cell.
In Excel 2007 it's at Home/Alignment. If you open the dialog box by clicking the button at the lower right of the Alignment area then click the Alignment tab at the top, you'll see the Orientation settings at the upper right. You can also get there by typing hfqm while holding the Alt button.
Date alignment in Excel refers to how date values are displayed and positioned within cells. By default, Excel aligns date entries to the right, similar to numerical values. This alignment helps users quickly identify and differentiate dates from text or other data types. Users can adjust alignment settings through the Format Cells menu to customize the appearance as needed.
In Excel 2010, to switch the PivotTable report to classic layout mode, you need to go to the "Layout" tab within the PivotTable Options dialog box. In this tab, you can find the option "Classic PivotTable Layout" which allows you to enable or disable the classic layout mode for your PivotTable.
In Access, the "External Data" tab makes it easy to automatically import data from Excel. Within this tab, you can select the "Excel" option, which allows you to browse for the Excel file you want to import. The wizard will guide you through the import process, enabling you to specify how you want the data to be imported into your Access database.
Excel does not create stylized text, but you can insert WordArt. You will find the WordArt option in Excel 2007 on the Insert tab in the Text section.
The Excel output option only
The way Microsoft designed Excel, the program has the ability to save files in HTML format. You just click the Save As option and select .html. MS Excel automatically creates the appropriate HTML code for you.
Go to the Format menu, then Cells, then Alignment and you will find the various settings there. You can also use the alignment icons on the formatting toolbar or Home ribbon.
