"Do all of my questions have a subject and a verb in the appropriate tense?" is a question I would not aks myself. "Why would I revise THIS?" always comes to mind.
What sentences are not clearly expressed or logically constructed? What sentences seem awkward, excessively convoluted, or lacking in punch? What words require explanation or sustitution because the reader may not know them? Where does my writing become wordy or use vague terms? Where have I carelessly omitted words or mistakenly used the wrong word?
-before starting write out all the key words -allow yourself time to answer the questions (ex: if you have 60 minutes to answer 6 questions, allow 7 minutes for each question and use the rest to check answers) -before answering the questions, put them in your own words -order your paragraphs logically -use well constructed paragraphs
