Well, I would think scaphism tops the list of wierd ways to die. It was a form of execution used by the ancient Persians. Essentially, a person was placed in a coffin like device, (hollow tree trunk, two row boats, barrel, etc...) and forced to drink milk and honey. Not so bad right? Wrong! Too much milk and honey makes you defecate everywhere. Then the person's body was covered in honey to attract insects. The person was then pushed into a lake or left in the sun to rot. So imagine being trapped, defecating and covered in insects. That's a wierd and HORRIBLE way to die.
