What did the first telephone look like?

The first commercial model of the telephone in 1877 was a rectangular wooden box with a single opening at one end. The opening served as both the transmitter and receiver, and required the user to turn their head in order to speak and then listen. Alexander Graham Bell's demonstration model in 1876 was similar, but was not enclosed in a box.

The first hand-held cellular phone was about the size of a large loaf of bread and was white. It was huge compared to today's sleek tiny models. It is larger than today's landlines and doesn't have any other features but call. I think it was created my Centel.

it looks like all big and has keys and no screen and you cant even fit it in your pocket. so its bigger than regulare phones are these days
