Typical jobs are as buyers, sales managers, department managers, and store managers.
Each store has 3-7 managers depending on the size
store managers make about 100,000 a year.
managers
In retail stores, there are sales associates, store managers and category managers (which are like co-managers).
It depends on the volume of the store and that managers experience.
I have never been to justice (and I want to go), but my best guess would be by asking managers at the store.
Depends on the store and the size of that store. Most store managers are on salary (not paid hourly). Starting Salary is about $34,000/yr and up.
An average Hy-Vee Store Director makes over $100,000 a year. Store Directors are paid quarterly after every inventory and their salaries are based off of sales. In other words, if their store does really well they will have a better salary. If their store does really well they will make less. Hy-Vee no longer has a store manager and an assistant store managers. The store manager is now called a Store Director. Then it does Manager of General Merchandise, Manager of Store Operations, and Manager of Perishables. Some stores have Assistant Managers of General Merchandise, Store Operation, and Perishables. Next in the line-up is Assistant Managers and 2nd Assistant Managers. After that is Department Managers and Department specialists. After that goes Department Clerks, Checker/Stockers, Checkers, then Courtesy Clerks.
Co-Managers do a variety of different tasks including, but not limited to dealing with the store manager and the assistant managers and all the way down. They report directly to the store manager and typically don't do a whole lot other than the store managers paperwork and asssit the assistant managers with any concerns they may have.
Store manager wages vary. Some managers are paid hourly, and other managers are paid a yearly salary. It all depends on what store he or she works for as well as how long he or she has been there.
