It depends on the pet.Each Valenth has 5 stages,Alpha,Beta,Natural,Vital and Tainted. They start out as an alpha(an alpha usually looks like an egg)once they reach level 101 they grow into a Beta(baby stage). Your Valenth is able to grow when you feed it food. The types of food you feed it will make your Valenth grow into the form you choose.
You can rig your pets to be only fed the food of your choice so that they will grow into a natural,vital or tainted pet. It helps to make a feeding thread to help them grow faster. You can give your Valenth an Elevelixir to level them up faster, but this will not make them grow. In order for them to grow you have to feed them real food. You can however give them Elevelixirs until they reach the needed level to evolve and then feed them real food.This way they will grow faster.

It evolves into Beta at 101 clicks, and then to Omega at lv 501. Life based foods will turn your pet Vital, plain will turn them Natural, and tainted foods will turn them Tainted. You can feed your pet certain foods, depending on how you want him/her to turn out.
