What happens when you lock your Twitter account?

When you lock your Twitter account only your followers can see your updates. Also, you will have to approve any new followers.

It's like as if only your friends have the option to see you, kind of like being a king, you approve and see who can do stuff, but only a few people can see you.

go to your twitter account and select "protect my tweets".

i think if someone you're following and they're not following you back and they're account is set to private they may not see your tweets...

but don't listen to me, cause I can be wrong.

my tweets are set to private and I'm following someone who has their tweets on private too but they aren't following me back.

Go to settings, then the account tab, and check the box next to "protect my tweets"

There isn't anything you can do to unlock your account. If your account is temporarily suspended, you'll have to wait for Twitter to unlock it.

Visit twitter dot com/account/settings and select "Protect My Updates" at the bottom of the page. Once you hit save, you're good to go.
