I have broadband internet & also magic jack. Unfortunately, I have to depend on my cell phone for calls if I am using my computer surfing the net. The calls drop, have static on the line, or it doesn't work at all. I am very unhappy with the magic jacks performance even with the new upgrades.
Skype can run on the lowest broadband bandwidth but the official answer is: Broadband is best, GPRS is not supported for voice calls, and results may vary on a satellite connection
