In some games Charisma is a stat. Some actions in those games require a check of that stat. Sometimes by a roll of dice(real or digital) sometimes just by looking at the Charisma stat.

Depending on the check you fail or succeed at the action.

Charisma checks are often used when flirting or trying to persuade otehrs to do what you want them to do.
