Follow the lower radiator hose to it's end near the engine. Remove hose at this end and stick finger into thermostat housing. That thingy that you feel? Yeah, that's the thermostat. Note that if replacing the thermostat, use only a stat that has the exact same dingleberry as the original stat and position it in the exact same clock position to prevent air bleed problems. Note that inexact replacement thermostat seals may make this difficult.
Best guess: it thought it was daylight savings time. You may need to adjust the clock on the thermostat.
You can find the thermostat on the front of the engine. The thermostat will be inside of the thermostat housing.
