If you are referring to an iPhone's enhanced feature in the photos app, it simply enhances the saturation, sharpness, and contrast of the photo. Making it look better most of the time.

A pix message is the same thing as a text message except there is a picture in the message. You may have to select the option to download the picture or your phone might automatically do that and you can open the picture to see a bigger version of it using your photo gallery.
no, it will say text message then the number and the time, but it doesn't give what was on that message. Same with picture messages. It shows it was a picture message and the time and number but doesn't show what was in the picture

Not really, its more like a picture message.
You go to inbox, then create message. You can type whatever message you want and then press "ok". Or if your already in a message conversation press "reply". After you would press "ok". Then when it previews your message, press "Insert". Then picture, or video. It will then say "Existing Picture, or Take New picture" click on whatever one you would like!
