Upkeep is the amount of money it takes to care for your items. For example, wigs have fifty dollars upkeep each. A Hybrid Prius has five dollars in upkeep. Every time you get a paycheck from a job, your total upkeep amount will be subtracted. You can keep track of your total amount of upkeep by going to the Jobs tab. To see the upkeep cost of individual items, go to the Glam tab and look at the individual items. If an item does have an upkeep cost, it is listed under the picture.
