I better start off with what flaming is. Flaming is pretty much "trash talk, spam, rude, and arguing". This is where users usually can argue and it is allowed. A lot of times a board will have a flaming section, but it will not be moderated.

A chatroom, forum term or other social media term. It means someone posting a nasty or insulting response to a post. Unfortunately flaming is all too common in forums and chat rooms. The person posting it often wants to get an argument going and so deliberately posts provocative comments. Flamers can be fairly subtle, they may craft their words carefully to cause as much mayhem as possible. A cruder form of flaming is a 'troll', who simply posts basic insults rather than a more subtle approach.
