Talkmobile is actually on the Vodafone network, so effectively although it is owned by the Carphone Warehouse, it is actually just like having a Vodafone mobile.
I've seen some bus stops advertising their SIM only pay monthly's from £7.50 a month, adn that includes 100 mins and 100 texts, so think I'm going to be getting that when my contract runs out next month.
I'l let you know how I get on, but from what I've heard from friends who have it, they say its as good as any other network, coverage is good, and customer service is standard.
Hope that helps!
