The advantages of landline telephone services are uniform sound quality and the fact that the direct connections between callers do not use up a limited capacity. The second major kind of telephone service is wireless cellular telephone service. Unlike traditional landline telephone services, cellular implements radio waves to transmit communication as opposed to physical copper phone lines. Cellular also differs from traditional phone services in other ways. For one, wireless cellular services now have the ability to transmit data in addition to voice based communication.
