We believe in the continuous improvement in everything we do and that staff's dealing with patients, their families and each other should be conducted with courtesy, professionalism, integrity, openness and respect. Our vision is of Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a confident, high performing organisation, in the top 10 per cent of NHS Trusts, working in partnership to provide the highest possible quality of services to patients and their families. We believe: * that the patients' individual needs and experience are our first consideration; * that the best results come about when patients, their carers, relatives and staff are active partners in decision taking and in the giving of treatment and care; * that we should conduct ourselves with compassion, courtesy, professionalism, integrity, openness and respect in our relationships with patients, their families and each other; * that services are best delivered when our staff are highly skilled, motivated, patient focused and work together as a team; and * in continuously improving everything we do.
