Londonderry, like the rest of Northern Ireland, uses UK telephone numbers. From Dublin, you can dial this one of two ways:
1. Dial as an international call: 00 44, then the full Londonderry number including 028 area code except for the initial zero.
2. Use the dedicated shortcut number of 048, followed by the eight-digit local Londonderry number.
Example:
Derry City Council uses the number (028) 7136 5151. This can be dialled as follows:
From any other 028 landline within Northern Ireland:
7136 5151
From any otherUK landline or mobile phone:
028 7136 5151
From the Republic of Ireland:
048 7136 5151 or
00 44 28 7136 5151
From other countries:
+44 28 7136 5151
(where + represents the international access code for the country the call is being made from, usually '00' or '011'.)
First dial 011 353. Then dial the number in Ireland that you need, without the zero that may start it. Dublin's code is 01 so if dialling Dublin you would leave out that first zero and end up dialling 011 353 1 and then the actual number of the phone you are trying to get through to.
Luton's dialling code is 01582.
It is about 147 miles or 225 kilometres.
Making international call usually requires that you start with 00. Ireland's international dialling code is 353. To get Dublin, you add 1 to that, so the answer would be 00 353 1 and then follow that with the local number.
567218 is not a dialling code from the UK, which all start with zero. The dialling code for Glasgow, Scotland is 0141.
The international dialling code for mainline China is +86
0141 is Glasgow's dialling code. 952 is not a dialling code in any part of the UK.
The dialling code from UK to Australia is 00 61.
