I wouldn't say there's something wrong with a person for this. People prefering to write down their thoughts and feelings may be primarily 'Visual processing' persons who Read /write first, then respond later most comfortably -vs- primarily 'Auditory processing' persons who Listen first and then respond verbally more comfortably. Additionally, a Visual-processing person would prefer to see the respondent in person in order to interpret body language and other visual cues which may not be as significant to another person having the Auditory preference of communicating. Likewise, an Auditory-processing person will prefer speaking in person or on the telephone, as he/she is much less adept or comfortable with reading /writing. Learning to understand and appreciate one's own and others' communication styles can launch your personal and professional relationships into more productive, more comfortable, and more meaningful levels. You'll find neither is right or wrong, it's a matter of neurological wiring which we probably have inherited! There are also the tactile /kinesthetic communicators who learn and respond best through the sense of touch... and other people have combinations of these styles plus other sensory methods not mentioned here.
because it has wirelike cells connected to the different parts of the body.

Pretend you're not nervous. If the conversation goes at all well, you will stop being nervous. And if it doesn't go well, you can stop, and try to figure out what the problem is.
He is nervous and finding a way to make conversation.
It usually means he nervous.
radio. The nervous system is like a telephone in its rapid communication, while the endocrine system is more akin to a radio in its slower, widespread signaling using hormones carried through the bloodstream to multiple target organs.
