Theft - plain and simple ! Taking something from another person - that doesn't belong to you, is theft - no matter which country you're in ! If you threaten someone with a weapon to get them to hand over the object, that's aggravated theft.

It depends on what you mean by "stealing." If you took it from the person by threat or by force, you committed a robbery, a serious offense. If you took it sneakily like from out of a backpack, etc. you committed simple theft, a lesser offense. Also it will depend on YOUR juvenile record, if any.
