No, the iPhone 3GS does not support iCloud. iCloud was introduced with iOS 5, which is not compatible with the iPhone 3GS, as it can only be updated to iOS 6.1.6. Users of the iPhone 3GS can use older synchronization methods, such as iTunes, but not the iCloud service.

Yes, iPhones use a normal sim card.
No
No
depends what you want to use it for if it's for business i would recomend the blackberry but if it's just for a phone i would recommend the iphone3GS I think the iphone 3G is cheaper than the iphone 3GS and you can get video on the iphone 3G not just on the 3GS however the iphone will not work as well as it in America is done by at&t which do not cover most of the country but will cover most of the east coast
From iPhone 4 and beyond you can use simple software to unlock your phone. The 3GS is not able to unlock your phone unless you buy a special SIM card or take it to a different carrier
if you want to record videos, then you can find tons of apps that will allow you to shoot videos.
