arm of galaxy
Old, low-mass stars like red dwarfs are most likely to be part of the spheroidal population. These stars are typically found in galactic spheroids, which are regions of galaxies composed of older stars in a more spherical distribution.
Yes. Galaxies was shut down about a month before Star Wars the Old Republic opened.

Is an MMORPG that has been around six years and is currently one of the only online Star Wars games until Star Wars the Old Republic is released.
Star Wars: The Old Republic
There is one "true" successor to Star Wars Galaxies. Star Wars: The Old Republic was created by Bioware (creators of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, a fantastic RPG itself) under license from LucasArts. It's a traditional MMORPG in the style of World of Warcraft except... it has Jedi. Also, there are on-rails space segments, which are fun, but don't quite match what SWG had.
Galaxies with very bright centers and very little dust or gas are called elliptical galaxies. These galaxies are primarily made up of old stars and have a smooth, ellipsoidal shape with little ongoing star formation.
Elliptical galaxies are generally old but not very bright

Elliptical galaxies are generally round or oval in shape, lacking the distinctive spiral arms seen in spiral galaxies. They typically have a smooth and featureless appearance, with older star populations and little ongoing star formation. Elliptical galaxies also tend to be more massive and contain mainly older stars.
Barred galaxies per se do not exist. They are just a sub category of spiral galaxies of which about 2/3rds are barred spiral galaxies.
