A soils test should be done first to determine drainfield characteristics/size. A general rule is to have 300-500 gal (1.1-1.9 m^3) plus at least 30 gal (0.1 m^3) of storage per person served over 5 by the tank (this general rule is from the Civil Engineering Reference Manual for the PE Exam, Tenth Edition. In the USA the size of septic tank and drain field are dependent on the number of bedrooms. The number of bathrooms is not an issue.

It is better to think in terms of the number of people who will be using the facility, the average is 120 gallons of water per 24 hours.

A 4x4x4 should do for two people, but most areas are now getting into having engineers design septic systems that then have to pass local inspection. Needless to say almost everything is bigger and more complicated than you need, so I've no doubt they will tell you that you need at least a 4x4x8 tank.
