It is called an Ethernet cable.
first, make sure the router is wired to your dsl/cable modem (network cable is pluged on your router's internet port & the another of that goes to the port of your modem). Get another network cable, plug it to your laptop (there's one or two socket that fits that network cable on any side of your laptop), then plug the other end of the network cable to any port numbers of the rtr.....hope that'll help! ;)
it goes into the ethernet cable input in the back of your PS2 and into the modem or rouuter
I havent the slightest! iLogic101 says: RJ59 is coaxial cable which is used to transmit video and internet data. This is the thick round cable that goes into your cable box and/or cable modem.
If you have a router the ethernet cable connects to it. If you have another item like a PC connected to a modem you could disconnect the ethernet cable from it and plug in the PS3 until you purchase a router.
All u need to do is by a router and plug the Ethernet cable from the modem into the wan spot on router. You can figure it out from there
You might mean the ethernet cable and you need to connect it to your cable or DSL modem and then the PS3. If items are already connected and you don't want to switch back and forth you need to purchase a router and connect everything to the router the modem cable goes in the in and the PS3 and PC or other devices go in the out.
Find a Broadband or DSL internet provider or if you already have one and are already using it connect a router to your modem. Then simple connect an ethernet cable from your modem to your router and one from your router to your PS3. The cable that was going from the modem to your computer now goes from your router to your computer. If you are not using the internet service before then just connect th ethernet cable from your new modem to the PS3. Then if you do get a computer just buy the router and the ethernet cables then.
on a mini hp.... sorry hunn, you cant. acually that goes for ANY mini at all. they do not allow you to change the wallpaper
A LAN connection usually goes through a network connectivity device, such as a hub or switch or a router. If you want to go directly from a PC desktop to a laptop use a cross-over cable to connect the two devices and configure the network settings appropriately.
The cable modem does not make a difference your internet speed are determined by other factors. What speed did you order through your provider? The more mbps you have the faster it goes and your provider usually has several speed options. Also your location how many people are online also can make a tiny difference.
An RJ-45 connector is the the connector at the end of a Cat-# cable (also known as a lan cable/network cable).
The modem is what detects communication signals then goes to the device.
