It's true, you actually can't add any kind of code to Facebook or mess with their code - it's off limits to users. What you can do though, is install a browser plug-in, like PageRage, that gives you the ability to skin your profile. There is no HTML or coding knowledge needed...their technology actually does all the work for you. All you do is create layouts or select layouts from their website (www.pagerage.com) once you have installed it. Pretty cool, I like it a lot and have recommended it to my friends. It's free and very safe.
This week facebook are changing everyones to a new layout. you will just sign in one day this week and it will be done for you. you dont have to do a thing apart from wait :D x

The simplest way is to right click on an open area of a slide, pick the Slide Layout option and then choose from the set of layouts that are given. If you click on one it can be set to the new layout.

I believe MySpace 2.0 has a layout creator when you update to that version. That is very basic though and only gives you the ability to change the background, arrange pods and other things like that. However, if you can code HTML, MySpace gives you the ability to create a myspace page using an advanced HTML edit.
You go to options and than it says yoville name and erase the name that is there and type in the new one
oh well i think you can go on those websites where on the sides you get those adds saying get a new face book layout maybe there you'll find one but imn to sure

you can only suggest one if they are new to facebook or they don't currently have one.
If you want to change your layout/background...you willl have to delete your old one, before adding on the new one.
There are a few ways one can change a United States keyboard layout to one that is suitable for users in the United Kingdom. Primarily, this involves going to the "Control Panel" program that can be accessed from the Start menu for Windows users.
