I have not heard of this one but Viribus Unitis- is roughly- Combined Forces- United We stand, etc Men united. It was the name of an Austrian Battleship in World War I and also some business establishment in New York with elaborate etched-in-stone lettering. it was across the street from Lord and Taylor- and the Viribus Unitis was on the third floor. Second floor was a beauty parlor. They finally took the sign down about a year ago. I still don"t know what kind of establishment it was. I have defined the phrase. ( roughly United Forces- united we stand, combined forces. )
