Partially obstructed drain or vent line. Could also be improperly tied into the toilet drain/vent. In most codes wet venting for more than 1 fixture unit (i.e. a sink) is illegal. Washing machines have their own section of code due to suds relief, air breaks, and the fact that they discharge a large amount of water into the drainage system very quickly.
When the washing machine drains, it can cause the toilet to overflow because both appliances may share the same drain line. If the drain line becomes clogged or blocked, the water from the washing machine can back up into the toilet, leading to an overflow.
Improper venting.
The drain is getting plugged and the toilet is lower than the washing machine drain so it is easier for the water to come up in the toilet than to go straight out the drain. Put some drain cleaner down the drain where the washing machine drains and that may solve the problem.
It might be plumbed wrong -- or either your sewer is stoping up --
Toilet bubbles when the sink drains because there is a blockage in the plumbing system that is causing air to be trapped and released through the toilet. This can be a sign of a clog or ventilation issue in the pipes.
Toilet bubbles when the tub drains can be caused by a clog in the plumbing system. When water is drained from the tub, it creates a vacuum that can draw air from the toilet, causing bubbles to form. This indicates that there is a blockage in the pipes that needs to be addressed to prevent further issues with the plumbing system.
To prevent toilet bubbles when shower drains, ensure that the plumbing system is properly vented and free of blockages. This can be achieved by regularly cleaning and maintaining the drains and vents in your home. Additionally, consider installing a backflow preventer to help prevent water from flowing back into the toilet when the shower is running.
To prevent toilet bubbles when the bathtub drains, you can try using a plunger to clear any clogs in the drain pipes, ensuring proper ventilation in the plumbing system, and checking for any issues with the plumbing vents.
Sounds like the washing machine discharge is fitted to the main drain in the wrong place and it's discharge is filling your toilet. It's possible there may be something of a blockage just after the toilet, causing a backup. I would try to snake the the pipe from toilet out. You may even have to remove the toilet from the floor and do it there if there is no access underneath (like a basement or a crawlspace). I have snaked main drains from the toilets many times, and it's a pain having to re-re the toilet, but often it's the only way.
When your toilet bubbles while the tub drains, it is likely due to a clog in the plumbing system. The air trapped in the pipes is trying to escape through the toilet, causing the bubbling. This can indicate a blockage that needs to be cleared to prevent further issues with your plumbing.
You need your septic tank cleaned out.
When your toilet bubbles while the shower drains, it may indicate a clog in the plumbing system. This can cause air to get trapped and create pressure, leading to the bubbling effect. It is recommended to have a plumber inspect and fix the issue to prevent further problems.
